Procedures for Becoming Licensed

 

  • Applicants must submit  a  complete state application. State Application fees are payable by  check or money order  to: DBPR-Division of Real Estate. For explanation of the application process please contact the State at (850) 487-1395.
  • Florida residents must transmit fingerprints electronically. An applicant may have fingerprints scanned at Pearson Vue testing center in Florida for $61. Visit www.pearsonvue.com or call 1-877-238-8232 to schedule an appointment.
  • Upon completion of the 63 hour Real Estate Sales Associate Pre-License Course, you will be required to earn a  minimum score  of 70%  to pass the final exam.
  • Upon approval of the application, Pearson Vue will notify the applicant in writing. The Applicant can then  proceed to schedule a state examination date by calling Pearson Vue at 1-888-204-6289  or by visiting their website.The applicant must pass the examination with a minimum score of 75%.
